Verdun France - Fort de Douaumont The Toilets

This is one of the toilet blocks for the fort. The soldiers relived themselves through the grates in the floor.

It is really lonely, damp and spooky inside the fort. There are many interconnecting corridors and levels and it is very easy to become disoriented.
