Somme France - Pozieres Gibraltar Blockhouse

"This is the remains of 'Gibraltar', a massive double-storey German blockhouse used as a machine-gun post and for artillery observation. It was captured by 15 men from the Australian 2nd Battalion on 23 July 1916." (McLachlan, 2007)
