Gallipoli Turkey - Plugges Plateau Looking Over the Sphinx and Razors Edge

This panorama gives a good view over Anzac battle zone and the logistics of keeping it supplied. The Turks controlled the heights on the skyline and the Australians hung to the edge next to the drop. Supplies were brought up using natural gullies and sections of trench for protection. The drop at the edge of Plugges Plateau to the Razors Edge is much steeper on deeper than it appears. This panorama gives a good idea of the type of country that the Anzacs had to contend with.
